More about the ingredients:

Lavender:  The effects of lavender are known far and wide for managing stress and reducing anxiety. Not surprisingly, it offers the same calming benefits for your skin. You can use calming lavender oil for skin to help reduce redness, blotchy patches, and acne scarring. Lavender oil is a potent source of antioxidants and other beneficial phytochemicals.

Peppermint: Acts as a muscle relaxant and pain reliever, it may diminish certain types of headaches Trusted Source. The menthol in peppermint oil increases blood flow and provides a cooling sensation, possibly easing pain Trusted Source. In one randomized clinical study in 35 people with migraines, peppermint oil applied to the forehead and temples significantly reduced pain after two hours, compared to a placebo oil Trusted Source. In another study in 41 people, peppermint oil applied to the forehead was found to be as effective for headaches as 1,000 mg of acetaminophen Trusted Source.

Rosemary: Rosemary oil is traditionally used to treat headaches and improve circulation. There are few studies that specifically support rosemary oil as an effective headache treatment. However, a 2008 study suggests that rosemary oil has anti-inflammatory and pain-killing properties. Another study from 2013 found that rosemary oil helped to reduce pain and insomnia in people going through opium withdrawal treatment. These research examples suggest that rosemary oil may reduce the pain associated with a headache.

Eucalyptus: Eucalyptus is traditionally used to clear sinuses and reduce inflammation. People experiencing headaches due to blocked sinuses may find that inhaling eucalyptus reduces their symptoms. One study found that eucalyptus oil was effective for relieving pain and lowering blood pressure when it was inhaled.
